Bacolod Trip

Negros is named as the sugar plantation of the Philippines. My trip was just half a day also good thing a good friend lend us his sport car to roam the capital of Bacolod on Northern Negros in the middle of the Philippines which is an idyllic resort in the mountains.

Mambukal is ideal for family outings and business conferences. For those on a budget, there’s the Tourist Lodge which offers standard rooms and suites. There are single air conditioned cottages or campsites to choose from as well as picnic sheds for day visitors. There are stalls at the resort serving local dishes at reasonable price so don’t worry about going hungry. The resort was originally developed by a Japanese architect named Kokichi Paul Ishiwata in 1927. The resort started as a bath house and picnic garden and has provided cool haven for Negrenses and their guestsMambukal has 7 cascading waterfalls, a nice climb through jungle forest along the waters, treetop climbing in the canopy, a sulfur spring basin to rest your aching bones and much more. Besides those water and jungle activities, you can also have massage here, watch gigantic fruit bats flying around in the area and hanging in the trees.

Mambukal Resort is best for outdoor activity.. with the booming of BPO industry in the country its one of their favorite stop for recreational sales rally or simply team building... the place is so accommodating and has a lot to offer for people who want to experience a real great outdoor experience.
